Meet the Photographer

Hi, I’m Jan.

A motherhood, maternity, newborn, and family photographer serving families in Maryland. My work is inspired by motherhood: the anticipation, the softness, and the tender chaos of raising little ones.


I’m a mom myself, and becoming a mother changed how I see everything — especially photographs. The tiny details, the snuggles, the unposed moments that pass by without notice… these are the things I want to preserve.


I photograph maternity sessions outdoors in nature (fields, blossoms, meadows, tree farms), and newborn sessions in-home where everything feels cozy and natural. Families can expect warm colors, gentle movement, and images that feel emotional rather than posed.

Tell me what season of life you want to remember — growing belly, tiny newborn, or the chaos that makes family so sweet.

Prep Together

I’ll help with outfits, location, timing around naps, and making sure everyone feels comfortable (including dads + toddlers).

During the Session

Kids can explore, cuddle, and be themselves. I don’t force smiles — I photograph connection, not perfection.

Gallery Delivery

You’ll receive a proof gallery to choose favorites, and your final images are delivered with love — ready to print, hang, and treasure for years.
